Am I just being cynical?
Post Body

Like Look, I get everyone is different but there is something lately that is getting under my skin, a LOT.

I've posted a number of F4F posts - yes, they're totally not safe for work. And a lot of them are one night stand themes. In those posts, I have mentioned specifically that they are F4F only, and that I would only be replying to the most well written replies (quite a normal thing for me, I often get several replies, so the best writers get responses). This has been a thing for a long time, and I've had a lot of success.

However, lately, talking the last month, whether it's here on reddit or elsewhere, I get these responses, where I see them light up my phone screen like, yay, I have a reply!
Only to open them, and find this:

"Hi. I'm actually 43M but this prompt was super hot, like something my wife had last year."

So I kinda blink and think to myself, okay... and reply "Hi. Okay. Don't mean to be an asshole, but I'm really not sure how this relates to my search for a partner?"
"I just read it and found it hot. Sorry for wasting your time!"

So like... Is there just a trend now of just being approached by people who don't fit your criteria just to try and convince you to step outside of it? Not sure how stories about your partner are working with my partner search, but it seems to be a huge increase in (mostly) older men replying to my specifically F4F posts about how it supposedly relates to their partner.
Great. Not taking away from their experience but this literally had no bearing on my search and has no gravitation towards me wanting to rp with you, as a male twice my age.

Is this a thing? am I just being a dick?
