Low Effort, High Reward? I think not.
Post Body

So this is a bug bear which has really gotten me annoyed this week.

Just to be clear, I am not bashing on anyone who actively seeks out the below points if that's what they're genuinely into, you can like what you want. What I resent, is the way it's seemingly always portrayed or framed.

So after posting an F4F prompt in a forum which has a time limit for more posts (so yes, I have to wait several hours before doing it again), I got no reply to my prompt. Oh well, shit happens.

Next best thing is to look for someone elses post and reply to that.

"Unique role I want to play!"
Awesome! - so I open it and have a read. "You're the school super popular jock who's a total player, I'm the innocent star cheerleader..."
No. That's not unique. If you've been roleplaying more than twenty minutes you know that's not unique.

"Three long and unusual roles to play!"
Excellent, let's have a look and read.
"I'm your curious younger stepbrother and you're my older and experienced stepsister..."
"You're my naughty older neighbour and I'm the college guy next door..."
"You're my daughter's school bully..."
That's not unusual, that's not unique either... and that third one is bordering on a ToS violation, but that's a rant for another day.

"Super hot unique role for a domme F!"
Little bit forward but let's check it out.
"You're my newly 18 year old daughter and I'm your daddy..."
Again, what the fuck is unique about that? Sure, I'm sure some other women are into that stuff, but that is not unique in the slightest.

Like okay, as I said above, no, I'm not bashing or holding anything against people who seek these above roles out or enjoy playing them, all the more for you. But when I post a prompt I've sat on and tried to concoct for several days or weeks, whether smut or not, I always try and add at least something that makes mine stick out just a little. If they border on overplayed, then I try and make it stand out.

When I've posted a prompt with the thought I quite often try and invest in, and these people swan in with the attitude that their role is super unique and that I'll love it, and I'm presented with these carbon copy, high school musical-esque ideas, or ideas ripped from the 101 textbook of adult movie scripts (conveniently where they insist on taking the role which has the super weak and submissive character who needs to do as close to nothing as possible), and framing them like they're the best thing since sliced bread, it grinds my gears to no end.

I'm not even asking for someone to write war and peace or something hollywood movie-like. Just... something to work with. A tiny bit of effort into something that makes that idea... yours, and something we can both enjoy! I don't know.

I guess I'm just getting sick of seeing the same boiler plate prompts constantly flowing in when your creativity elsewhere gets you nothing!
