Sometimes I don’t understand people at all. I work really hard on making sure my posts on all the apps I use hit everything I’m looking for. Lately I’ve had a lot of people totally disregarding the content in my post, demanding doubles and just being very awkward especially in plotting stages. I’ve also had people start up a story line, go right through plotting and oc bios get a start or prompt up and then bam. Ghost. Which is totally fine I am a ghost friendly writer, but what irks me is the promise of replies that just don’t ever get sent.

I try to be incredibly understanding I might message after a week or so, but for it to go on for months is just really frustrating. If people aren’t interested why isn’t open dialogue more of a thing in the rp community? I always check in and have a chat with partners especially ooc as it’s important to know where we’re at.

I’ve also had a couple of entitled partners recently, at the moment I have a lot on in real life. Huge changes which I do keep all my partners up to date with, unfortunately some are more entitled than others. Does anyone else find messages like ?, Hey? Or hello? Rude if it’s only been a day or even a few hours of talking? I love writing and I really don’t want to give it up, but lately it’s something I’ve been considering because of how others have been making me feel. The entitlement and anon messages just make me question whether it’s all worth it. I just wondered if anyone else dealt with similar?
