Okay so I... have no idea how to feel about my rp partner. We've been having a bit of a bumpy road, but have come somewhat to an alright place. I just am not liking how they'll sometimes talk to me about a possible rp thread idea with our characters (And I mean, it's fun to talk about, I like the conversations that it leads to), but then either a couple minutes, hours, or even days, I'll see them posting said ideas and concepts on group servers that we're in together. Usually they post strictly about their characters and do share only their contributions about what we've talked about tho, so I feel like I can't really say anything about it.

For example, if we're talking about let's say the thread idea involves shoes. The convo in our private server would be us talking about our own characters, how they'd act in a thread with shoes. I'll say "abc" about shoes and my character, they'll say "xyz" about their character. They'll be occasions where that info can intersect when talking about our two characters whether that can look like "axb", "xbc", "axybc", and so on. Depending on my rp partner, this goes on for a while. But then they'll then go on the group servers, then say things like "hey everyone, I'd really like a thread with my character about shoes". Anything additional to that, it's the "xyz" info about their character only. That's also why i feel like I can't say anything about it because it's all info that doesn't intersect with my character.

I'm not sure how to go about this in a polite way, considering we do rping with each other, both in our private server and our rp group servers. However, it's never about what we've been talking about prior, or the "shoe threads" I guess I should say. I'm curious to hear what you think about this and whether this is something people have seen before? Also open to being told I'm overthinking things. It just makes me feel a bit used sometimes. Also not sure what to tag this.
