Advice on bad neighbors
Post Body
I live in a apartment complex. I recently got new upstairs neighbors. There dog continues to pee through the patio onto mine. We have spoken to them 3 separate times and made a written complaint and submitted it to the management of the apartment complex. I also called animal control. It has ruined my patio furniture and leaves an awful smell . This continues to happen not as frequently but still continues. What action should I take next? We are on this lease till 4/6/25

I agree with this. They can use those interactions with you. Be civil and do everything by the book. They are aware that you are not happy which now makes you the enemy. Definitely keep track of any evidence and check into legal advice. We beat our bad neighbors this way. Itβs a longer process but you come out better in the end. Definitely look into the rules of your lease regarding pets. Look into city ordinances as well. Some may be outdated but they still work.
