Does require no opponent to have a permanent that can pay the 4R for pact, or something like [[omnicience]] to then be able to hold up a stifle or something for the hive mind trigger. (even if they have an etb removal, like reclamation sage, pact is an instant so you can just play it in response to their trigger.)
