Toys and the Dishwasher
Post Body

Looking for some guidance with using a dishwasher to clean our bad dragons. On the website it says you can, for convenience purposes, use a dishwasher for cleaning.

I already use a mild soap like dawn to clean all my silicon toys. My concern is using automatic dishwasher detergent in the washer cycle as I feel the cleaning chemicals are harsh. It does removed stuck on food on your dishes.

Is it safe to assume then that the dishwasher is more or less to use it for sanitizing purposes after you wash them by hand instead of dipping them in boiling water? Run it without automatic dishwasher detergent.

With the high quality of Bad Dragon toys, I see them as an investment and don’t want to ruin any of them.

Comments

You’ll likely want to get a scent free dishwasher detergent at least. I find there’s a taste/smell in all my silicone after it goes through the dishwasher
