I'm a begginer skier and this is my second season of ski touring so I'm looking for advice.
I was wondering what is the proper way to ski a very tracked down patch of snow filled with numerous tracks that are even several cm deep and that happens to be very hard/frozen and look like a plowed field?
I just encountered this situation this morning and I felt like every turn was survival, i wouldn't even consider it skiing, the skis were jumping all over the place and they kept getting caught left and right in various old tracks.
What are some tips to face these conditions in a more appropriate way?
You stay home.
