So I have been using a brand new pair of Moment wildcat Tour 108s in the Canadian Rockies all winter and have absolutely loved them. They’re a dream for touring in powder.
However they’re horrible to ski in variable conditions. As soon as they get into anything that isn’t powder they get bounced around like nobody’s business. I’ll be moving to Europe soon and so will want a touring ski that skis well in steep and variable snow conditions throughout the season.
I have no experience of the second hand market in North America, will I be able to take the bindings off my Wildcats (I love the bindings and want to keep them) and sell them for any decent amount of money? When is the best time to put skis up for sale?
Cheers
