2 or 4 nesting boxes for 6-8 chickens?
Post Body
Just finished framing our coop this weekend, intended for 6-8 laying chickens. On the side wall, we left a 2' by 2' cutout space for the nesting boxes. Now I'm wondering: should I make 1 row of nesting spaces (2' long, 1' high, so 2 spaces) or two stacked rows (4 spaces)? Seems like I'm right on the borderline, do I error towards coziness or space?
