Egg eating
Post Body
I have a mixed flock of 6 that just began laying and I have some egg eating going on. It doesnโt seem to be chronic or constant.
Current precautions/set-up
1) new nest box set-up (5 gal bucket), oyster shells, Grit, layer ration, lots of water, food scraps, and occasional free range time. 2) Ceramic eggs as decoys.
I really like having my flock, but fresh eggs was the goal. Any additional advice or suggestions would be great.
