Post Body

I am finally planning to go back to school at 39. I stopped after high shcool, have since them moved aborad, and do not know anything about the educational system. I would need some guidance to now what options are available to me and what would suit my needs better.

For context I worked in IT for 20 years. I am French but live in Ireland. I am fluent in English and Spanish. I want to study Translation.

I have a full time job and can only study part-time (evenings and weekends). If possible I would prefer online studies over having to physically go to college/school, but this is not mandatory.

Here are a few things I'd like to know:

- For online course, I'd like to know if I can take classes from other countries in the EU or if it has to be from Ireland

- If all the certifications are recongised EU-wide or only in the country of the school

- If it is a multi year course, can I move to another country while still studying or if I'd have to stop when moving.

- Is there any financial help available for people who go back to school or can at least banks give you a loan?

Thanks in advance for the help.
