I was reviewing this bachata sensual basic tutorial on IG with my dance partner and we were having a very hard time doing what they explained. Note that we have been dancing for many years and I have done bachata basic in the sensual position before in social. It seems to me that people in my community does the sensual basic differently than they show it here. The easiest way to how we do it is that we do the usual basic left to right, but instead of stepping moving, we step in the same place so we don't move laterally.
What's the correct way of doing this? Are there any other tutorial videos on this? Is this the only correct way to do the bachata sensual basic?
Cheers!

Thanks for this. I've always tapped, even if just a small one on 4 and 8, but will instead just elongate the 3 or 7 from now on. Or do what it says in the video. No more tap!
