I'm a guy, 2 months into Bachata, and at social dancing I keep repeating the basic move while I'm thinking about what move to do next. Mostly I keep turning the girl. Listing the moves I'm familiar with, can someone help me with thinking of a better way of going about this? Also, if any of you could tell me if there's anything specific y'all do to keep it fun....like combos, or habits, or is talking good while dancing? etc etc
Footwork:
1. basic
Forward and backward basic
Box move
Forward/Backward & Side Rocks
Pass or walk around
Turns:
1. Normal Turns both girl and myself
Hammer Lock
Double-hand turns Comb
Waist Turns (self)
I have nothing constructive to add but the way you called it 'buffering' really had me laughing. I can just imagine the little buffering sign appearing above my head while I'm trying to think of what to do next 😂
