Going to the bathroom while babysitting
Post Body

I've been babysitting children of all ages for years and have always been able to lay the baby in a swinging cradle or standing play thing while I went to the bathroom really quickly, or they'd be old enough to keep playing for 5 minutes until I'm back. I just started watching a 9 month old & 4yo and they don't have a play thing/seat for the 9 month old on the same floor as their bathroom and the 4yo will leave her sister to come barge in on me (the door doesn't lock & I've already asked her to stay with her sister while I go to the bathroom).

Do you think it's okay to bring the baby & 4yo into the bathroom with me? The 4yo seems to think it's okay and has never said anything about seeing me pee, but it feels weird wiping with somebody else's kid right there lol. The baby already crawls around on the bathroom floor when the parents or I help the 4yo on the toilet, so her being on the germy floor isn't a concern. Also, is this something I should be asking the parents about?
