39 6 today, woke up at 3:30am with some pains. Quickly realized they were real contractions, started timing and they were 1.5 minutes apart about 30-45 seconds long. Decided to shower, they eased a bit and spaced out to 2.5 minutes apart. No water broken or leaking I can recall, so I’m just joking around with my husband. Called the emergency line around 6 cuz my husband starts worrying and they tell me to eat and come down. My husband keeps bothering me to come on but I’m just vacuuming the house lol. Currently on the way there through painful contractions, still in denial ❤️

UPDATE: I planned to go unmedicated, I ended up with Pitocin at 3cm at 7am and an epidural at 4cm at 2:30pm due to extremely high blood pressure (175/100) and no progress. I was told my opinions were the epidural or a “magnesium” IV for 24 hours to lower BP for safety of me and baby. So I chose the one that would relieve the pain after 2 hours of sleep 🥲 BP lowered immediately and honestly I’m sad I couldn’t do unmediated… i feel a little defeated as the pain was so bad at 4cm I probably couldn’t have done it anyway 😔 But it looks like my baby will be here today and looking good on the monitor, so I’m trying to cope with it 🎀
