Hi everyone - so by my 24 week growth scan today I learned that my baby is in the 9th percentile. I naturally am freaking out, though I had anxiety to begin with. The doctor said that the baby is symmetrical, and placenta and fluids all look fine and I’m gaining weight so she didn’t seem very worried. My husband and I were both born a bit under 7lbs so as far as my doctor concerned little girl is simply bound to be small. She is “symmetrical SGA” which does make me worry about chromosome issues? Not sure what to do. Maybe get some bloodwork to rule that out? I have another growth scan in 4 works. So now I get to be worried sick again between scans. -sigh- Doing my best to eat well and stay calm but it’s ⠀so hard. Anyone have a baby this small? Thank you
