Post Body

I see a lot of posts on here for people who have gained 20-30 pounds talking about how long it took to lose the weight, but what about those of you who gained more?

I have gained about 45 pounds at 33 weeks and am expecting I’ll probably hit 60 pounds by the time the baby comes. I started “overweight” but was very healthy. It’s been hard to gain this much weight and see it on my body, I’m just hoping I can get it off post baby.

Side note, I am not interested in lectures about excessive weight gain, baby and I are doing great and my midwife has no concerns, I am more interested in hearing how postpartum weight loss was for those who gained a lot like me :)

I gained 65 lbs with my beautiful baby boy. When I first got pregnant I was 133 lbs, the day I birthed him I weighed 200 even. I am officially 4 months postpartum yesterday and I weigh 143. About ten lbs away from the low end of my goal weight.
