Hey everyone! First time poster and soon to be father (37 weeks into pregnancy!)

Looking for advice for salvaging our car seat. My wife was read ended 2 days after installing our UPPA Baby carseat. Wife if fine, baby is also fine.....but as per Canadian regulations we have to toss the car seat. The vehicle has minor bumper scraping. We will be getting a new car seat - but by American standards the carseat would be fine.

We were given a guide to destroy the car seat which is in mint condition and we are looking for some alternate uses or something we haven't thought of. We just hate throwing something that is most likely 100%, and worth 600$ into the garbage.

**Update - we used the car seat as practice with our rescue tool I bought my wife to cut the belts of it in case we ever had an emergency. Carseat is in the garbage but the silver lining is my wife feels comfortable cutting the belts on it if she had to.
