Constant pain in right side under belly.. Is this normal?

FTM here, 20 2.

I've been having what I've assumed to be round ligament pain in the right side of my pelvis, pretty much right where my belly meets my pubic area. For the past week or so it's been only noticeable every once in a while but it's gotten more constant to the point where today it's almost every minute. A full, throbbing pain that only lasts a second but it's pretty much nonstop. Even when I'm just sitting or standing still it's there no matter the positioning of my body. That, coupled with a recent pain in my lower back (could either just be normal back pain from my strenuous job or something similar to menstrual cramps, i'm not the best at telling them apart).

I'm at work right now and my job isn't the most accommodating so the very earliest I could possibly leave is in about 6 hours. But the discomfort is enough to make me really uneasy and I want to know if this is something I should worry about or not. My next appointment is tomorrow so I will probably wait until then to be seen by a doctor unless it becomes more urgent.

Is pain this constant normal while pregnant? Is it just a really bad case of round ligament pain? I hope I'm just being paranoid. Thank you for any help!
