Yesterday at my exam, I found out I'm 75% effaced, soft, and 1.5cm dilated. So my "are these contractions" definitely have been, because a week ago I was not dilated at all or soft.
The doctor yesterday mentioned the Foley bulb and I think I found the one thing in my "birth plan" I feel strongly about. I DO 👏 NOT 👏 WANT to experience that without some form of pain relief.
My cervix is very high and hard to reach, and I've got a "narrow canal" so cervical checks are painful for me- I literally can't stomach the thought of that fucking balloon.
Any last minute advice? Fun facts? Questions? Mainly I'm posting bc this all feels so surreal and I can't believe I'm about to meet my child in the next few days. 😳
