Nervous about induction
Post Body

Hi! I'm getting induced tomorrow (if labor doesn't start in the few hours left of today) and feeling pretty nervous about it.

Some context: I'm expecting my second baby. With my first, I was in labour for 13hrs before they gave me oxytocin epidural. I hadn't dilated at all but they didn't really let me relax/be active (I was in an open waiting room, without even a curtain, and no assistance from the nurse at all for 8 hours). This time I have really been hoping for an active/natural birth and am going to a new hospital which seems to have a great program and reputation (for natural births). They have dilation rooms with pools and yogaballs and birthing stools and whatnot. The thing is I am now 41w2d and will be induced tomorrow (they would have let me go longer but I am feeling miserable). Their method are apparently very relaxed and they only start oxytocin on the second day if nothing has happened, but I am still scared this will mean I won't get the birth I wanted. I can't even walk for more than half an hour now (I was very very active up to 39w but nos I am just OUT of anyyhing resembling energy).

So I guess I just wanted to know if any of you had any tips on natural inductions? Positive stories (I love birth stories!)? I guess I'm just looking for a bit of light in this fog! Thank you!

Ps. Obligatory formatting, am on mobile, and bad English, not my first language!
