I told the 'baby' of the family I'm pregnant and apparently him and his dog already knew!!
Post Body

We'd been holding off on telling my nephews and niece until I was a bit more established into the pregnancy - growing a baby takes a long time for other kids! Well, last night my brother pushed me to tell them because my youngest nephew has apparently been worried about me. He's thought for the past two months I've been really ill because I just wasn't the same. Bless his wee soul.

Well I told them and my youngest nephew said 'Oh, I knew it! You've not been the same for ages now! I guess I won't be gran's favourite anymore!'

On top of that, my brother has a billion animals in his house, which I love, because hubs and I are out 12 - 14 hours every day for work and he's allergic to animals so we can't have one of our own. Two of his cats and his little lapdog were fighting all night over who got to curl up on my stomach, which isn't normally something they care about, so I guess they knew too!

I guess children and animals are more sensitive to these things than I thought!

And we definitely had the chat with my nephew about no one being the favourite grandchild (even though my child definitely will be! :P)
