Okay so my next appointment is the 31st. Little background; I am 36 weeks pregnant currently with a baby girl, doing this without my baby's dad cause he is a cheating jerk who never really cared about me anyways though I have my family behind me; baby girl is head down and doing very well. So at my last appointment I was 35 weeks, it was on the 17th, and my doctor had me do the GBS swab myself which I was unsure about but did anyways. I figure we will discuss the results at my next appointment. Also we will be doing a cervical check or whatever its called. I am only 20 and my ex was my first everything pretty much, and we were only together for about 2 and a half months so I have never even had a pap smear done. I am pretty much turning to you guys for help because I am unsure of how things will go. I am perfectly fine having the check, I know its not needed really and that I can refuse it but I don't want to. So I need some information about the procedure and any advice is welcome like about how I should prepare, if there is anything I should do or should not do, what it will be like, ect.
