SAHM - How did you know it was the right choice?

We have two kids and I’m currently pregnant with our third. My husband has been wanting me to be a SAHM and now I think I’m finally ready to make that transition. I love my job and that’s why I’ve kept working even though financially we’re in a position where I can stay at home with the kids. How did you decide whether or not being a stay at home mom was right for you? Are there any factors or negatives I should consider before quitting my job? I’d really appreciate hearing from both sides.
