How close to your due date would you be comfortable going on vacation?

Hi! My husband and I are planning a trip to Hawaii before the baby is born, but Iām not sure how close to my due date is safe to travel. How close to your due date would you feel comfortable getting on a plane? We considered other destinations outside the US, but figured it would be safer to stay in the country just in case. The flight to Hawaii from where we live is about 6 hours. Any advice/tips while traveling during the third trimester would be greatly appreciated too.
