I have sympathy for their struggles with parenting - I do! But I feel that all I've been hearing for the past 3 years from our friends is about what a hellhole/nightmare parenting young children is. This has been really challenging considering my husband and I are TTC and had a loss last month. I would like to be surrounded by a bit more encouragement and positive stories about the uplifting aspects of having children. It's at the point where I'm second guessing myself and wondering, wow, is there a single thing that people love about being new parents? Should we even be trying? Anyone else having similar issues?
