I was checking out different things online, hoping for some brilliant insight on what I could throw into a bath to help with the itching and I didn't learn too much that I didn't already know: Oatmeal and baking soda. I didn't really feel like dealing with the mess of an oatmeal bath, but I read about colloidal oatmeal, which is powdered. Great, but I don't have any and don't live next to a pharmacy. Cue brilliant idea: coffee grinder! Ground the oat meat to a fine powder, which was significantly less messy post-bath. Also used baking soda. While the bath wasn't a miracle cure by any stretch of the imagination, it was nice and soothing.
