hi y'all. going to nylt soon, a little nervous... i have some questions for anyone who's went. don't expect you to answer all, just any that you can.

1. has anyone done the 2 weekend model? if so- ive read that the first half in the week model is more classroom type stuff and the second half is more hands-on stuff. is this also true with the 2 weekend model?

2. do they do bag checks? id like to bring a book or something (i don't sleep well at night without doing something relaxing for a bit beforehand) but it's not on the packing list, so i don't wanna get in trouble.

3. ... is it like, intense? i haven't been camping in a while and the online info has got me a bit anxious.
