Is there an official national BSA or approved third party guide that explicitly outlines the pre-reqs for this course? Not just "take CPR/AED" There's no single course option one can take. AHA offers three skills options, Red Cross two more.

I'm looking for if there's explicit proof of what the course requires. I have three written answers from three different people locally. I can't beat a dead horse any more so I'm hopeful there's a good answer that national puts out to give clarity to their answers.

Options I was given

  1. Adult only is fine, needs to be in person for the skills part
  2. Adult youth is required, needs to in person for the skills part
  3. Online only is fine, as long it gives a certificate (it doesn't, I know this one is wrong)
