For context: before ako mag WFH, may TL na kasing-age ko lang. All smile kapag nakaharap pero yung mata is weird.. may something kahit nakangiti siya.. Alam ko naman na minamarites niya ako sa office since pa-kikay nga ako which is my personality na talaga. So couple of months may chat sa GC namin yung ‘close friend kuno/bestie ko’ So I just realized, if the whole office knows that we are close, bakit sila comfortable na okrayin at pag chismisan ako in front of her? Then realization hit me, mas may worst pa sya na chat diyan na nagpa realize sa’kin na she’s not a true friend. Almost a year na din after I ended our friendship. Kase if someone talks shit about my friends, in front of me, I would make sure that person would be so embarrassed na binuka niya pa ‘yung bibig niya. But on her case, tuwang-tuwa siya na meron palang taong galit na galit sa’kin because of my physical appearance and how I carry myself…. Her replied when I try to defend myself was, “ang pangit mo naman ka-bonding” She expected me to just laugh it off just because masayahin na tao ako? Oh dear, let me hold your hand when I say this, lots of people body shamed you because you look ‘butanding/malapad’ but I always try to defend you. Galit na galit pa ako sa katabe mo sa jeep na nagagalit since ang daming space na nakukuha mo daw. It’s scary to think that people can have secret animosity towards you and still hang-out with you. Like how? Ako kase di ko keri haha!!
