I was hired to be a part of the team that responsible for overseeing and ensuring that policies, processes, and practices align with organizational objectives and standards. The original team was based in the u.s. however it was dissolve already, the members have been redundiated and the only thing that we have is the list of tasks assigned under our names. I am new the organization and the managers that i am working with was an internal hire and even they have no idea of the process for this business unit since this is everyones first time being part of the so called strategic team.

I do have a lot of questions and i want to have a clear path and roadmap of what to do and needed to be accomplished since as per the very head of our unit advised us that since this is new in manila there are a lot of possibilities that our task will expand or branch out or grow. I created 30 90 120 day plan and I based it off on the duties and responsibilities written on the job description when I applied and also on the tasks list given to us, this plan helped me understand what i think i needed to do and provided me some explorative questions to ask to the manager and unit head for me to understand how to steer my unit to the right direction and who to collaborate with.

Am i being too extra or too much? I dont want to think na bida bida ako or what not since everyone on our unit is pretty much confused on what to do, its like we have spaghetti process and like the blind leading the blind. I want take the initiative on my unit sincs my role can have an effect to our sub units as well. I am not a manager but a quality only overseeing the site and more on risk management. Will my new manager and unit head going to appreciate my assertiveness or will they see me as nuisance or being too bidabida 😭😭😭😭
