My exwbpd texted me last night for the first time in 6 weeks.

She texted asking a mundane question, that she could've gotten the answer to in so many places.. like reddit, for instance...

I replied with the answer. No added chatter from me. No 'ty' from her.

Today I was on the phone with my counselor, and he asked 'why haven't you blocked her?' Good question. 'Her inner narrative is that she will be abondend by everyone, and that she should never trust anyone. I guess I just want her to know that narrative is false.'

I will always love that woman. Distance or no. Whether I want her in my life, or not. I will always love her.

Isolated at home, away from my friends while I recover from COVID and she texts me wanting some random piece of info. Rather than ruminating over 'what does this mean?' Or 'what, when and how should I answer?' I simply texted her the answer, went back to my movie, and then got a good night's sleep. That feels like a small win for this dude.
