Did yours get worse when they started therapy? Did any of yours get better and how long did it take to see changes?
Post Body

I spent 7 of our 9 months gently guiding her towards getting therapy. I didn't know about bpd when we started and she thought she just had bipolar. She finally got therapy during the last 2 weeks, but it honestly started making her worse. More episodes than ever which lead to a brutal discard.

Now she has a new guy and is therapy and I'm lamenting the fact that this guy gets to swoop in and reap the supposed benefits of all the ground work I laid. How long does it take them to actually start getting better through dbt? I mean I know it's gonna be different for everyone. From what I've read on this sub mine is a pretty extreme case of the narc/hist cluster
