How to help yours if they think they failed at something?
Post Body

My bpdso gets really down on himself whenever he messes up - and I'm talking small things. Especially minor screwups at work. What're some things I can tell him, to comforr him and help him feel better? Maybe not necessarily what he wants to hear, but something that can be said in a way people with BPD might be more receptive to?

Like... Reminding him of who he is, what he's good at, that I know he's doing his best? I can definitely do that!! :3

I'll take a look at those too! He's also been diagnosed with Bipolar Type II - do you have any book recommendations similar to loving someone?

Y'know, I think it's time I do. I'm in it for the long haul; and if it can help answer questions like this, all the better. Thank you!
