.. how much is too much? I'm learning how to ask for reassurance and validation and am really learning how to address the most unbearable feelings without shame (terrifying) and I'm like - how did you figure out what the right level of reassurance/security/validation etc is? what the hell is the right level of self managing feelings and what is the right level of healthy validation or reassurance seeking from others? I was conditioned to be an island growing up and to just try to engage in self validation, I don't even understand how much is too much. AHHHH!
