Have any of you split on a good friend for no discernable reason and never go back or stop splitting them?

Ok, so I used to lurk here for a while when I was best friends with someone with BPD. But after she split (that's all I can think to call it) on me, I've been reading more on "that sub". I had looked at that sub in the past actually bc my friend has recommended it. But at that time, I only saw it as a very hopeless place filled with hurt people. I now understand that population better now that my friend has discarded me. I still read both subs as a way to try and cope and accept my former friend's decision.

Anyway, I would just like to hear from some of you about your experiences splitting on a friend who never seemed to do anything wrong but that for some unexplainable reason you began to distance yourself from them. Whatever details into your thoughts and feelings would be helpful. Any advice for how I should handle this? I tried reaching out a little, but have been ignored. I don't want to be bothersome. Am I just supposed to wait? I can go into further detail if you need me to or you can read some of my comments I put on the other sub. Thank you!
