Should I tell my GP Dr that my psychiatrist diagnosed me borderline?

Post Body

This is probably a weird question but my psychiatrist keeps my files just to her so if anything changes I make an appointment with my main doctor to tell her. I’ve known that I’ve been borderline for over a year but never had professional validation until my last appointment. My psychiatrist finally said “yeah I definitely agree with you. You’re borderline.” Which felt great just to know she understands my issues. Anyway I’m hesitant to tell my other Doctor because of all the stigma and stories I’ve heard about dr’s not understanding Bpd or being misinformed about it. Does anyone have any advice on this?
