As discussed in this submission that I made the other day, the question of whether to allow art on /r/BPD has always been a difficult one. Art is obviously a tremendously powerful way to express emotion and to capture the experience of BPD, but logistically, allowing image submissions poses a lot of problems (as discussed in that submission).

Over the years, the idea of having a designated weekly art post has been suggested a few times (most recently by /u/BloodlessCorpse ...lol), and I've decided to give this a shot. What I'm going to do is make a weekly submission (like this one) where people are encouraged to post their original artwork in the comments section. This will enable people to share their art while also avoiding the problems posed by allowing art submissions.

I'm hesitant to make this a sticky post, because we only get two sticky posts and the ones that are already there are very important (and they still don't even get the job done). So, I'll see how this goes first.

This does not mean that you can post memes in here. That rule still stands - this is for people's original art.
