Hello all, I'm new to Reddit. I'm loving the freedom to ask so many people their opinion. My question is based on why someone might get upset and permanently block their long term partner everywhere. In my case it's over a perceived hurtful but non-abusive message. To my thinking it's like the nuclear red-button option. I'm thinking, is it done in order to avoid their abandonment issues? Perhaps just to be in control? To avoid them lurking themselves? I figure my question might raise up some previous hurt with others and I sincerely hope if that's the case you understand that's never my intent. I guess I'm just being selfish here and trying to find answers for myself. If it helps others, great. If it hurt others, I'm so so sorry.
