Post Body

My husband works about an hour away after we moved for my new job this summer. He normally comes home way before I am off and it’s usually not an issue, but today he has been going out to lunch and drinks with his coworkers and it’s about 4 hours after he normally comes home. He’s been keeping in contact with me and sending me snapchats to comfort me, but he just called to ask if he could go over to one of their houses for an hour for a couple drinks and then come home and I am spiraling

Partially due to the fact that we rarely do anything apart, but also because I have awful FOMO and my brain just immediately splits in these situations. I need advice on how to cope and not be controlling or ruin his night please

I used to just go in my room and cry for a bit, then I would find something enjoyable to do. Eventually after it happened a few times, the crying stopped and I would just do other things. Just try to work through it as best you can because you know it's best to let him do those things.
