I love my partner, and it’s believed they have bpd that’s why I am asking here, I love them but the problem is that I am questioning if I should break up with them or not a for me thats sort of a sign that I should, if I am even questioning it

I have OCD so that’s also aiding in the fact, I can’t tell if my OCD is making me question or if I am just questioning it

I would want to still be friends with them once I would break up with them, and only they have their true answer to that since I mean they are them not you guys but for you guys personally would you be friends with someone who broke up with you on good terms?

Edit: when would be a good time to separate? I want to make as easy as possible for them because I still love and care for them, I just dont think I can do a relationship right now with all the questioning and ocd thoughts

It also depends on future love interests sometimes. It can change the boundaries of the friendship and affect either relationship. I think it's best to break up under the idea that you will not be friends because you have no idea how someone else will react. It's a risk you have to understand.
