How to be alone when you're incredibly not used to that?

Post Body

Hello everyone, hope you're all doing well. I am basically asking what the title says. I don't spend many nights away from my boyfriend, but tonight happens to be one where he wants a little alone time so we aren't spending the evening together. Obviously, this is totally fine and I understand completely. But what I don't know how to do is to feel okay on my own.

In the past, it's been so bad that I have to drink a lot in order to get through the night, but as of today I am 24 hours sober. I'm just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for how to navigate a night completely alone without spiralling. This is something I have struggled with most of my life. Thank you ๐Ÿ’–
