How do I explain to my partner who doesn’t experience or know much about bpd?

Post Body

I have a partner (male) who recently asked if I could explain what it feels like when I split, or have other present symptoms. I also have other mental illnesses that play a role in how I feel in situations but I have a hard time describing what it feels like to someone who doesn’t feel anything remotely similar. I know he wasn’t to just understand to better support me and my needs but I’m very bad with words. I don’t really like talking about my feelings either when I’m in a negative headspace. Also any suggestions on what can help someone with bpd in the first relationship they’re really trying in would be helpful.
