My boyfriend was visiting for the weekend, and 30 minutes before he had to leave he decided to tell me that he’s realized he needs to have kids in the next few years. I’m infertile, and I had to get my uterus removed last year. He told me he’s not sure what to do, because I said I’m not comfortable with us having an open relationship so he could have a family with someone else. I want kids, and would gladly do a surrogate but he said that’s too expensive and he doesn’t have time to save up for it. He said “I guess that’s it then” and Then he left because his ride was leaving.

I’m completely hysterical, I’m at the hospital now and I think they’re going to commit me to a nearby institute. He said we can talk about it more when he’s home (he lives about 4 hrs away) and I’m completely lost. I don’t know what to do. I’ve never been broken up with before, this felt so heartless. I was sobbing hysterically and he was straight faced. I’ve never hurt this bad before
