I'll preface this by stating that I do not suffer with BPD but my ex does. Assuming you've made any progress in therapy, what therapy have you used?
Also, I am in C-PTSD recovery. The only therapy that has made any progress enough for my general counseling to be effective, is EMDR/Neurofeedback training. Upon being referred I had no idea these treatments existed or if I even qualified for them.
I'm posting here in compassion with those suffering with the disorder and truly want help/change but really have no direction to go or just don't know what to look for. Look into EMDR and neurofeedback, do some research on success rates and symptom relief from this treatment. Whether you suffer on a severe level or a rather minor level. This treatments are what I would recommend.
I had the best results when using neurofeedback. As I had a brain graph done and I could actually see the WHY I was having issues. As my brain waves were completely out of sync and resembled that of a traumatized brain.
Give it a fair try if you are interested. We all deserve happiness and love. I wish my ex was able to receive and reciprocate that experience. But she'd given up long before I met her. I was unaware how deep into the victim hood she'd sank until I had to leave to save myself.
Good luck! I wish you all the best!
