Is there hope without access to a mental health professional?

Post Body

I am not sure I belong in this community yet, I’m hopeful for some clarity on the suspicion I have about that after reading up and sitting on the sidelines of some groups and forums on BPD for the last 9 months or so. I am a self employed mother, in the lower middle bracket in America without health insurance. So as you can imagine, access to anything non-life saving as far as medical care is a little scarce and complicated, and I haven’t found any options within my means as far as professional help with this stuff goes. Im considering trying to put some self therapy and coping mechanisms into practice to see if I notice any (hopefully positive) changes. Does anyone have any recommendations on some resources or pages or books or ANYTHING that they found helpful? Thank you.
