What helps you calm down when splitting?

Post Body

My SO (f29) has been splitting since we started preparing for our daughter’s party. I paid for everything since she has no job, prepared most of the party, and cleaned everything after. Since she left the next day to go to yoga and decompress.

She is still in full rage mode towards me. Constant insults, not responding to my texts, used my credit card without out my permission and spent $700.

Unfortunately this is common and I knew what I was in for when we got back together. But I can tell she is suffering.

What can I do to help her calm down? What makes you come back to reality when splitting?

Our daughter has to witness the her attempts to devalue me and I know it’s very toxic for her. I wonder what the best thing to do is every day. Please help.
