Do you regret splitting on people?

Post Body

I understand the concept of splitting, going into a black and white mindset when considering a specific individual. (Tbf I wouldn’t mind further elaboration from people)

Do you guys get to a point when “clarity” sets in? Where the fog lifts and you regret things you said and did during that episode? How do you go about mending things, if at all? Or do you accept the situation for what it is and move on?

[Edit] is there anything your friend or s/o can do after a split to redeem themselves? Or is it purely a matter of waiting on you to reach out?
