Looking for advice to support someone with BPD

Post Body

Hello all, I’ve known this person online for a while know but only recently in the last couple months started talking very frequently. I learned that they were diagnosed BPD pretty quickly and I wanted to ask you all if there’s anything I could do to help better. We’ve become fairly close, but they are essentially convinced that their life is never going to get any better any time they have an episode, and just normally. And their life does kinda suck, but I do believe it can get better. I’ve tried to just be there for them, cause I really care for them, but I’m worried there’s something I could be doing better. Is there any advice you all would offer? I’d appreciate any. Thank you.
